    Quick question - in the middle of the job - does the top opening method only work for older bikes with the smaller air hole in the frame? I noticed the pics from various sites all show that and my bike is newer (2009) and I am unable to get the flanges to clear the heads.

    So long as you're not doing clutch ups that bike will not bring the front tire up, unless it has some serious work done to the engine. If the RPMs are around 2.5-3k and you pop the clutch the front could come up on you but letting the clutch out smoothly will make sure things are fine.

The HD Delphi is a lot easier to tune and I would like to gauge the reality of swapping that system...

    Does anyone know the tolerances for what an aftermarket lever should be in between? At what measurement would it activate the brake master cylinder?

    FYI to anyone still looking for a right side scoop: I ordered a carbon fiber scoop from MotoComposites and it arrived without any holes for the bolts. The website shows the piece with holes pre-drilled. Also, the fitment was a little wonky but I think it can be manipulated.

    I'm in the NOVA area and would be down to meet some other Buell riders. I took my Dyna through the Shenandoah area and had a blast. I can't imagine what it would be like on a bike that doesn't scrape pegs in the twisties.

    Bid to buy Ducati... from Harley?

    Does anyone else see this as a big slap in the face to Erik Buell? The EBR has a proven track record of being a dominate machine in AMA Superbike whereas Ducati has stumbled quit a bit in MotoGP. Obviously I am comparing two different things but it feels like HD let a golden opportunity slip by...
