    Pitch forks and torches

Kona thats kind of what I figured but I thought I'd ask in case anyone has had a positive experience with it. Being that there were rumors of turbos from the factory and what not, I wasn't sure how much potential they had set these machines up for

No big deal wickedchop. It sounds like I'm in good hands here. So far much more inviting than the XB Facebook group. Lunaticfringe I do have the buelltooth race map but haven't installed it if that is the one you're referring to

Correct I was not asking about running gasoline with ethanol I was asking if anything is achieved by running e85 as long as I'm updating and upgrading my fuel system. That being said after much more reading it looks like it only has significant benefits if you extensively build the engine for...

Thanks you! You run e85 without modification? Being an 04 with 15xxx miles I figured stuff is starting to get tired so as long as I'm replacing I might as well upgrade and prep it for the track so that's how all of this came about

Hey all I have a few questions regarding fuel system updates and some other stuff. Hopefully you haven't sharpened your pitch forks or have a torch nearby because I'm sure this has been covered. I've been considering running my XB exclusively on the track after my friend was killed this fall on...

Got it to run last night hooked up to jumper cables and if I held the throttle open it would run at 4k anything less and it was dying. Im going to guess my tps reset wasn't exactly spot on and it was pushing too much fuel from the previous owner so the combo probably flooded it as you said...

Picked up where I left off last night. It went from trying to get the idle back to where the bike would even run. Didn't quite make it and now it won't even turn over the engine. Battery is good, fuel pump and electronics come on, starter turns fast but no turnover

Backing out for a tps reset and I'm pretty sure I've gone to far as you said cooter because now its definitely being a pita (assuming pita is pain in the ass) I can't get it stay running for the life of me. If it did back out of the TB how f'd am I on a scale of 1to pornstar?

Trying to adjust idle and it just twists and there's no way to gauge how far I've gone. Don't want to destroy the casing with pliers

Found out my idle adjuster is zip tied on. I'm assuming this isnt factory standard haha anybody know if there's a bracket or something for it?

Submax thank you! I'm not sure of the brand as they came on the bike. Judging from the material and quality they're probably eBay or cheapies and I'll be replacing them soon. I'm an "all black everything" kind of guy but that will have to wait until winter rtrofimovich dang Ive been seeing a...

Small world! Haha do you know of any local groups or any guys on the forum that are local? I have a feeling a local veteran will be very beneficial in troubleshooting and part sourcing

I picked up my first Buell the other day and promptly followed it up with a 100 mile ride home. I absolutely love it so far, coming from a jap sportbike I have a few things that I need to get used to yet but I'm loving it so far. A couple gripes are the seat being rock hard, handlebars arent...
