    Sorry for lack of info, I was in a hurry...2005 xb9sx I'm in the process of bring her back to life because last owner treated her bad. Lots of electrical work needs be done and such. But yeah, after some research I learned that good idle speed is around 1000-1050. Mine was idling just above...

    Any suggestions? My first thought is to check the air filter, then fuel filter, maybe idle adjust. I'm curious if any of you have come across the issue before, and what you did to fix it.

    HAHA!!! I already saw him in a couple other posts, and the disgruntled moans that followed. Thanks for the info, I've got to give this bike some serious TLC over the next couple weeks/months, cause the last owner locked it up for a year. So happy to get to wrenching again!
