Anyone ever mill the 1125 rotor?

So, I'm about to send this out to get replaced. Does anyone know if the 6 bolts need to come out when sending to Twin Motorcycles and the retaining ring on the back of the rotor as well? Or just leave all that in?

Anyone ever mill the 1125 rotor?

So, is it wire EDM or electrode EDM and is there a difference? Seems likely majority saw wire EDM.

Anyone ever mill the 1125 rotor?

I imagine all these rotors are the same, right? Same modification?

Anyone ever mill the 1125 rotor?

Thanks Cosworth ;). 50dro, the only parts I would need are Rotor, Gasket, and Rotor Nut. I have the tool ;), and was going to send my stator to that Fernando guy in AZ to rewind. Word on the web is 100 bucks plus shipping for good 240C rewind...

Anyone ever mill the 1125 rotor?

50dro Time was a concern. What is it a 6 plus week turnaround? I borrowed someone's tool. Wanted to get it back to asap. So I was looking for a quicker fix. Pur pony I believe the ebr part number may be Y0533.13AZ. At least that is what it says under sku on my receipt. Thanks Mope for finding...

Anyone ever mill the 1125 rotor?

I'm taking that as a no. How about, how many holes are drilled into the new EBR rotor and are they located in the same general area as the existing oil hole? Larger, smaller? Imagine I could find a CNC shop that would just drill the new holes for me...

Anyone ever mill the 1125 rotor?

I ordered the 1125 rotor shortly before the EBR site went down. At this point the order is showing processing on the site. I emailed them and they have not responded, calling them goes nowhere since they do not answer and you can't leave messages. I imagine they are just simply not going to ship...

    i call b.s.!!!!!!

I'll throw this out there. I have used a few different plugs on my Blast including the Denso Iridium Racing and NGK Iridium. I have never gone out of my way to replace my Denso plug, but it does not perform well compared to other plugs. My suspicion is bad plug. Many other Blast riders have...

    Transporting a dog?

I see a guy do it all the time. He just uses a crate, like and old crate you'd find at an old grocery store that holds a few half gallons of milk. I don't know how he has the crate mounted, but it is to the side like a side mounted bag. Then he had a plexi-like window that he attached to safe...

    problems worth keeping

The circular ones? Are they metal or copper? If they are I would imagine they are for the exhaust. I can't think of anything else except the intake manifold, but that is a rubber o ring.

    Rev Limit

5th post down... http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/Buell-Blast/How-do-you-all-shift-on-the-Blast Shows shift points. There is a rev limiter. Shouldn't need a tach if you just watch your speedometer.

    Buellxb.com has acquired BuellForums.com

Address a few things: 1.) I highly doubt any BuellForums.com member wishes any negative energy toward BuellXB.com. Like many are saying, it is directed at the owner of BuellForums.com, as he tossed us in the trash (or at least we thought he did). We are (or at least I am) grateful that the...

    Buellxb.com has acquired BuellForums.com

I'm a member of both sites and there are a few reasons I preferred to use BuellForums.com versus BuellXB.com. First, the user interface and experience, in my opinion, on BuellForums.com blows BuellXB.com away. There is simply no comparison. I know there are committed members to BuellXB.com, but...

    The right type of oil

Synthetic Amsoil and Mobil 1 are generally considered the best. ***Amsoil MCV 20w-50 in the engine and primary. ***Mobil 1 20w-50 in the engine and primary ***Shell Rotella T6 in the engine (not primary!) and Amsoil or Mobil 1 in the primary. I recommend ordering Amsoil MCV 20W-50 from a local...
