    stock crank with 1275 kit

Barrett- Thank you so much for this... while pondering this overhaul I've had a gnawing concern that the '03 was the first gen and they started making changes to critical elements the very next year... I put it out of my head because I didn't want to make excuses for not taking on the project 4...

    stock crank with 1275 kit

I get what you're saying about the 1275. I had some concerns about that as well- with respect to if it was going to be worth it. They recommended the .560 cams and I wasn't sure why. Maybe it's a clearance issue... I looked at the kits that weren't bolt on but I was gonna see if I could not...

    stock crank with 1275 kit

I'm looking into doing a Hammer Performance 1275 kit, .560 cams, new clutch, and exhaust for my '03 xb9r... I'm wondering if I'm going to have problems with the stock crankshaft after those mods. Also, would love current recs for exhaust. I know there's a lot of threads about this already, but...

Fuel in engine oil '03 Xb9r

My experiences with taking my bike to a mechanic has gone as follows: 1. Right when I bought it I took it to a shop (there are only two in the city of Chicago who will work on a Buell...) to have them drain and swap all the fluids and give it a once over. They changed out the primary oil but...

Fuel in engine oil '03 Xb9r

will the fuel pump issue show up on ecmspy or will I need to pull it and do a visual inspection to confirm that it's the culprit? My buelltooth (how 'bout that branding...) is in the mail. What am I risking riding it in the current condition?

what year should I look for in a replacement pump? And, why wouldn't the faulty pump or leaking injectors throw a code? Lunatic- Both the drum and you have my gratitude, for the record

Fuel in engine oil '03 Xb9r

Cheers. I was really hoping someone would say "it's a quick tps reset". It runs worse than cr@p. It runs like cold dog cr@p on the kitchen floor. Injectors it is. Any testing you'd recommend (compression, intake leak, fuel pressure) before I dig into the throttle body? Would the injectors...

I did not check my battery, and I've certainly been lurking in these forums threads long enough to know better! Yikes. Quick question- how would insufficient voltage and poorly maintained grounds cause what I got happening? Not questioning the gospel by any means.

Bike- '03 xb9r Miles- 13k No mods My bike started off the season on point, and then performance started declining a couple of weeks ago.The idle has been a little wonky since I got it. It cycles between 950k and 1100k in a cyclical pattern. I heard a rattle in the primary, inspected, and...
