    2005 buell xb12 lightning starts but wont run properly

    Unless you know what your doing, I wouldn't recommend a TPS reset. Even if the Throttle position sensor is out of adjustment, your bike should run at a constant throttle (cracked open a little) I'd agree with the others and look at the filter etc in your fuel pump.

    Problem solved. Occam's Razor says that in the absence of any further evidence, the simplest solution (answer) is usually correct. The replacement part was faulty!! I had a brand new fan in storage for a Project i'm building and I drove there today and picked up the part. Put it on the bike...

    Dooh!! No......I checked the fuse for power, but not the wire. I assumed with continuity it should be ok. I went outside and checked it and it was ok! Thank you..
