Doing intake gaskets. First time. What else should I do while I'm there?

I used an ultrasonic cleaner to clean the TB, all of the hardware and replaced the rocket box seals and grommets while the engine was dropped. I would recommending replacing the PCV valves as the original ones are probably saturated by now.

    WTB: Uly front footpegs

Thanks for the link, but unfortunately the left peg mounting point is damaged the same as mine. A search brings up a brand new set for double the $ and I was hoping to score a used left peg in silver somewhere. Or maybe have to take a chance with the aftermarket Chinese offerings.

2007 XB 12 STT fan issues

The plug is different as are the wire colors, so hard to mix up if you take pictures beforehand for reference! :)

2007 XB 12 STT fan issues

I replaced the fan motor with a new SPAL from an 1125r fan and I didn't cut the XB housing. Use a punch or small, thin Phillips screwdriver and tap the motor off the blades. Then use a socket to tap the old blades back onto the new motor. Cut and swap over the plug and you are done.

Yet another XB12S fuel pump issue.

Looks like the updated version in my 2006 xb9 as yours has the woven sheath to protect the wires from abrasion and the Deutch connector plug. Examine the wiring for any damage and shorts to ground. The pump is pretty basic so if it checks out OK then the short is happening on the bike side then.

Yet another XB12S fuel pump issue.

Reading fail on my part to not see the "2010" model year of your bike. What does the connector plug look like on your pump? Pictures of your pump?

Yet another XB12S fuel pump issue.

If you are blowing the fuse then it is possible that the Grey power wire jacket is nicked and shorting to ground INSIDE the frame and that is what is popping your fuse. You can see pics of my failure where the power wire arced and melted since the PO had the fusebox modified, so no fuse to pop...

    Fork seal leaking

Had a similar leak as you described and I used a "Seal Mate" tool to clean the seal and everything is dry again. The tool is cheap and I am sure they have copies of it out there. The fork holds a lot of oil, so I wouldn't be overly concerned if you lost a bit... unless it was haemorrhaging oil.
