    The gauge cluster protrudes about a half above the screen inch but doesn't completely override the screen so its not too bad

    Not a bad idea at all. Too lazy to go out and look if anything is interfering on the back after relocating but I'll check that out tomorrow. Haven't tested it on a night ride either so don't know how long it will stay

    I've seen a few photos of lightnings with lowered flyscreens and decided to do mine. I love the "pissed off" look it gives it but I'm not digging the excess holes from the previous mounting points. What are you all's thoughts on the look/cheapo mod?

    went to a new bike shop in my town today to see about getting a K&N ordered. Guy standing outside asks what I was looking for, told him and his response was "We only deal with harley stuff here".... I gave him a little history lesson
