Thank you sir, for sharing the options. I will keep it as is and be grateful I own something with 2 wheels. :) Keep the rubber side down.

    My 5th motorcycle. 2004 XB9S

If it's already tuned with a K&N and D&D, I would not bother doing anything else. I was just wondering if a race ECU would squeeze a few more horses out of it. Front end gets pretty light under hard acceleration. I am not going to blaspheme and say that it has enough power, but I'm not sure...

    My 5th motorcycle. 2004 XB9S

Been so busy riding I forgot to take pictures until I noticed my shifter seal was seeping, so I taped up the spline and installed a new seal over the weekend. Here is what I have of the exhaust without taking off the nose, which leads me to think it's a D&D based on your photo: How can...

Thanks 34nineteen. I may just try the Amazon version of the LED. I prefer to ride it vs work on it, so lately I haven't been up for modding it. I probably should have done it when I put 7W fork oil in and had it all apart a month or two ago. I would like to cut out under the rear seat...

PO put a K&N on with D&D and a stock ECM??? am not surprised. He had hard wired fan to the headlights to come on full w the key. I would have done a switched ground but then again, I’m a solder and heat shrink kind of guy. Even the wheel bearings were dry and growling when I got it. Replaced...

Thank you Outlaw. I currently live in CENLA (central Louisiana) and it’s been high 90’s and high 90’s humidity. I prefer to sweat than freeze and here it’s year round riding weather without special gear. Unfortunately we don’t have nice curvy roads but I’m surviving. Keep the rubber side down.

    My 5th motorcycle. 2004 XB9S

I drove 15 hours to pick up this baby 2 years ago. It was quite neglected and I've replaced all the mismatched or missing fasteners using blue loctite to make sure they don't fall out like my shifter bolt did while riding on the interstate. It is my second V-twin, the first was a 1987 FXRP...

Thanks for the input sir. I will look around and see what's out there. **I read a lot of posts on here before saying anything and you had shared quite a few of them. I'm learning.

    Frame puck

I realize this is a very old thread... 2004 XB9S that I've put a few thousand miles on. I can't find pucks that I am willing to pay that much money for. Thinking of heating up some plexiglass and pressing it against the left and right side, then cutting it after it takes the shape and has...
