    No, different guy I guess. I play Gretch guitars , but very very badly and not often enough to get better at it apparently. My guitar quality to guitar skill ratio is way out of whack ! ( I mean WAAAAYYYY out of whack)

    New Battery is installed and XB9R is alive once again. Cheers guys for all the useful tips and information. new one is a YTX14-BS 220CCA old one was a YTX12- clearly the wrong one

    Thank you Yea, the oil light comes on when I first turn on the key before its started. Good clarification. When I said the oil light "never" came on , I was referring to while it was running when only the CEL came on. you can see it in my Picture on post #14. Thanks for the oil pump info...

    Thanks very Much Barrett !! much appreciated. I will certainly heed your advice !! Yes please if you can give me the sequence for accurate checking of the oil level that would be very much appreciated ! (Checking the oil in my M109R is a dreadfully tedious process too). Cheers.

    Very Good, thank you Yea, I run 20w50 V-Twin Synthetic in all my V-Twin bikes. Usually Amsoil or Motul. Cheers.

    Ill have to find a Canadian source at a reasonable cost. Shipping from the USA to Canada is usually more than the item itself, its madness.

    Cheers, yes I jumped the 2 terminals in the diagnostic connector and counted the flashes, I assume thats what you mean by "putting the bike in diagnostic mode". Code 16. Will see what type of battery I can get here in Canada, Deka Big Crank lists at $529 CAD here on Amazon ...WOW, ill keep looking

    Cheers ! I use Deltran tenders on all the bikes, they don't provide a charge all the time, only when the battery needs one. Typically the batteries last 4x longer on the tender than not, but IDK how old this battery was when I got the bike, id have to look at the date code on it. Ill grab a...
