Primary drain plug o-ring fraying and front tie rod bolt torque spec

Probably just crushed the O-ring too much and it's sheared as a result. If it's not leaking I can't see why it'd be an issue; but sounds like a good idea to do the oil flush anyways. I've always just gone hand tight, followed by 1/4 to 1/2 a turn with wrench to seat it. I believe that the...

    A 3D Printed Shift Lever

I've seen where people will stop the print half way and drop in a metal piece and resume the print to cover it up. It'd have to be modeled in but I'm not sure how tight the tolerances on something like that would be

    A 3D Printed Shift Lever

Update: after a long ride home from work a few days ago here in NC with outside air temps reaching near 98F, the shift lever finally started to fail and starting warping under load. It was solid enough to get me home but when I got to my apartment garage gate, the lever was toast and I had to...

    Charginng system issues on XB12r

I'll double check later today, right now I'm too happy to have ridden it to work this morning!

    Charginng system issues on XB12r

Update: The new VR from motorgenic solved the issue! Shipping took a while though just got it this evening. Getting right under 14v at idle

    Charginng system issues on XB12r

Are your mosfet systems more reliable than the current system? Also is it mounted in the same spot or have you relocated them somewhere else on the bike. I know that there's a good amount of chatter about the heat getting to these without at least spacing them.

    Charginng system issues on XB12r

The wiring on mine was correct and I did verify the wire polarity and it does appear to output the correct voltage. None the less, I've ordered another one here from motorgenic. Maybe this will do the trick

    Charginng system issues on XB12r

I've done my best to read through the current posts regarding the charging system for my 06 xb12r and the iconic voltage regulator trying to sort out my own charging issues. My stator passed the tests that I've read, having the correct AC volts out across all three and no continuity to the...

    A 3D Printed Shift Lever

25% with 6 walls compared to the default 2. More perimeter walls affects the strength more than the infill and helps keep print times and material costs low. I do agree that pla probably isn't going to hold up to the weather that well now that I think of it so I hope that ebay shifter comes soon...

    A 3D Printed Shift Lever

I made a post a couple of days ago about trying to source a new shift lever for my 06 xbr12 after stupidly dropping it. In that down time I modeled up a replacement one so that I could try and print one with my printer and use it as a temp solution (possibly longer) or have one custom cnc'd...

In need of new shift lever

Thank you so much! I don't know how this never showed in my searches but I'm more than grateful. I've been modeling and 3d printing my own lever to test and eventually send to a cnc shop as a last resort lol.

In need of new shift lever

I laid my xb12r down not getting the kick stand all the way engaged and snapped the shift lever. Are there any aftermarket levers or other bikes that use the same linkage setup?
