    Thanks for the reply. IDK if it has the reinforcements. Just looks like regular bolt holes on both ends. Is there a way to check to make sure the shock is good before going through the trouble of putting it on? There is no leaking that I see.

    Got a 99 M2 that has a strut installed. The guy I got it from gave me the shock that came off the bike. Of course I would like to lose the strut and put the shock on but it does not have a reservoir or even a place to connect the reservoir. Anyone familiar with this model shock?

    How can I tell if my M2 is a low? My rear looks lower than most M2 pics I see. Is it hard to raise it if it is a low? I am a tall guy and am wondering if it would be more comfortable for me.

    99 Shock

    The 99 M2 I just got has a strut installed. The guy I got it from said it gave a better ride. I have the shock that came off of the bike and want to put it back on. It this something I oculd do at home? Will it raise the seat hight putting the shock back?
