new bueller here xb9sx needs some more mods

@tedstang. I had to buy some grommets for the end mirrors because they were loose. It took some spit and a lot of pushing, lol, to get them in. About 15min. I'll post pics up of the signals when I get home from work. Good lookin bike...

new bueller here xb9sx needs some more mods

I found my bar end mirrors at cycle gear for about 6 bucks. Also my LED turn signals about 2.5"- 3" in length, which, all of it gives it a sleaker look. No more than 30bucks. Bike is looking sick. The breather re-route actually stopped my hiccups. It's also good to let your bike warm up...

    deployed, XB12scg storage question.

I was gone to Korea for a year. I had my wife start my bike once a week, had it on a tender and had it up on wheel racks so the tires weren't on the ground. I came back on my mid-tour 8 months later and it started right up and it rode like a champ through Ojai and the mountains. Oh, I didn't...

Took her out of the depths of the man cave now that the weather is clearing up, well somewhat, here in Marysville, Ca. Been 3 months since I rode her but she still rides sweeeeeet.

    Helmet Hanger

I have an 08 Scg and I take my seat off and strap mine to where the seat hooks and hook connectors meet. Not thief proof but it will detract most thieves. Just connect your chin strap before you put it on. The seat holds it in to place. No mod, no cost.

    Hi, I'm new

Hack the cheese grater off and get a tail kit, replace the mickey mouse mirrors with bar-ends, remove your belt guard, take off your reflectors, replace the turn-signals with some smaller LED's and that should touch up the bike a little. Buy an aftermarket exhaust, air filter and do a breather...

    GB Exhaust Review

Octo/ gbalias- I have an 08XBScg so what will I have to do if I do get this exhaust? Not to familiar with ECM mods or mapping and can I do that with a MAC computer? I have a K&n filter...

    Breather reroute.

The only thing the re-route did imo is stop the hiccup/ sputtering in the low rpm's. Unless your dyno running your bike to see the gains, I think you may think your gaining ponies just on that fact alone, that your bike doesn't hiccup which leads to a smoother and somewhat faster takeoff...

    Exhaust List

Here's a list of exhaust I've had for awhile that I've found awhile ago. I know a lot of people are always trying to find "the one." Hope this helps a lot of people to solve their exhaust questions. One exhaust that I'm hoping to purchase which is not on the list is the GB so check that out...
