    Frankly, no one's ever talked smack about my Buells. Kinda hard to do when I've got my helmet off and cigarette lit by the time thy catch up on our favorite twisties... :D I love inline 4's, to be fair, but at 40 now, I'm over worrying about the aftermath of 150 mph passes, 100 mph wheelies...

    Sweet bike! I love them too, but I'm trying to stay away from inline 140+ horse monsters... 100 MPH wheelies are too tempting and too dangerous/jail-inducing. I'm sticking with my 85 horse Buell..., but its hard... Lol!

    ZTL2 Calipers/Radial Brake Master Cylinder

    Thanks to Wes, my Uly stops HARD now! :D ZTL2 8 piston calipers slid right in, and I merely had to flip the brake line (am ordering a new one soon--want a clean black one...). The bike stops hard now--a noticeable improvement in power and feel over the original brakes.

    Definitely electrical--as above, check the 30a inline fuse. Then double check that the battery is connected (you've probably already done that). Next, see if you can get a car to jump you--If everything powers up when you connect, it's definitely battery/charge related. If its not a bad ground...

    ^^Oh, I hear ya--on my Uly, I run the line straight out to the rear passenger peg with no filter or can. On my XB12S, I ran a catch can and filter, but mostly 'cause l didn't know how much would come out. I get -zero- dribble on my Uly...

    If you need to upgrade your VR/R, I have a like new CompuFire unit that would be the perfect upgrade. Was holding onto it for my Uly, but it feels wrong to hoards parts... Lol!

    It can dribble oil during high-rev situations, and most tracks won't let you onto the track without a proper catch can.

    Amsoil, Redline, Royal Purple, Mobile One... The debate is almost as old as the internal combustion engine! Go with a quality synthetic in the proper weight and you can't go wrong. In Cold Canada, a15w50 might be a good option... Nice bike, and welcome aboard!

    The only differences I can think of are the additional rear wheel bearing, and the additional 02 sensor... You can always buy a 2010 rear wheel (or change your bearings on a schedule). I don't believe the extra '10 sensor to be any sort of real advantage...
