    2004 XB12s $4,000

Out of curiosity, how tall are you? My 6'3 friend is looking for a naked/cruiser to replace his FZ6R. I recommended the Lightning as a good naked for him but he is worried about being cramped. Free bump!

    A little Buell influence.

The skinny rear tire reduces weight and rolling resistance: hence the range figures. I agree about the aesthetic though.

    lvlark's XB12R build thread

Looks really nice; I especially like the polished lip on the wheels. As mentioned above, what's that exhaust? Also, how much weight do you think all that carbon saves?

    custom fabricating

If you put out quality product, I'm sure someone would be interested, especially if it's unique. What types of parts were you thinking of making? Body parts and covers; i.e. undertails, pulley covers, etc? Post some pictures and ideas. Someone might be your guinea pig!

    Jardine Torque Fix (Gatorbuell)

Regarding CaboWabo9SX's post on anti-reversionary cones: NRHS is local to me, and Dan seems to know his stuff. He details how these work, and I have one on my Jardine equipped Blast. It made a very slight difference before 3000, and no notable difference after that, although my bike has a stage...

    is this real????

There's only a $500 deposit; so buy it, move the gold and coke, and pay the rest off with the proceeds. Usually, full payment isn't required for 10 days or so. Plenty of turn-around time. Not that I have any experience in this field.[smirk]

You might be a Buell owner if...

•I was referring to the fact that an engine kit may provide substantial additional acceleration as to illicit an involuntary response to the tune of needing to change one's underwear. •I was referring to the fact that many Buell owners take pride in doing our own work and are always looking to...

You might be a Buell owner if...

    • Your engine kit came with a case of Depends. • You enjoy performing 30 minutes of maintenance for every tank of gas. • You spend more time personalizing your bike than riding it.

    Chambered Mufflers...Anything against them?

Good luck! On a side note, I would be more interested in a chambered muffler to avoid repacking, but I also don't want to sacrifice too much performance. Are there any good chambered systems out there?

Looking for a good HID kit - already know the "how to"

My horn is hidden under the fairing is why is ask, that's all. And I'd like to keep the ballasts as far from the elements as possible. I suppose I could just buy some wire and extend the harness too. Thanks!

Looking for a good HID kit - already know the "how to"

How long was your harness? I'm concerned with space underneath the front fairing on my Blast, and the site says that Hi/Lo uses two ballasts as well. Do you think it would reach far enough to mount the ballasts underneath the seat?

    Buell blast firebolt

Why would the mods not cut out the 5 page catifght and just skip to the part where this thread got back on track? That's five pages of name calling and disrespect that make this forum irritating to read sometimes.

    Weight reduction question.

The bike already has Crossroads rearsets, a Buell Pro Series intake, and a Jardine exhaust. I was going to chop the tail, delete the plastics, and do a tad more work to the carb, switch to a Supertrapp can, and maybe swap the intake for EZ's setup. I'm 5'10 and in the 160's so I'm already pretty...

    Weight reduction question.

Does anyone know of a thread pertaining to weight savings of specific mods? Such as removing plastics, rearsets, tail chops, etc? I was curious what I could realistically get the bike down to without spending a mint. Is ~325lbs feasible? Thanks in advance!
