    xb9r > streetfighter build

I'm going to be taking a break from this bike for a while. Frankly I'm burnt out on it right know and I've got too many other, more important projects going on. Mainly building my house and finishing my garage. It may be three weeks, or three months, not really sure. I will get back to it and it...

I'd love one but it's way out of my price range.

    I believe it's a knock off koso. I gave 30$ for it.

Got a cheap little gauge. Wish it was smaller but it fits relativly well. Not sure how I'll mount it yet, probably right infront of the triple.

    Preload Ajusters

I made one and keep it in my tool kit. I don't adjust preload often enough to warrant keeping adjusters on the forks 200% of the time. Those look nice though and are a very good price.

Started on my footpegs. Not sure if I'll knurl them or mill some grip slots in them. Also I'm using some nice 12 point arp bolts, even though you won't be able to see them.

    Oil level sight glass

Yep I'm all about that. My dads triumph t110 has a thread in sight glass, I wonder if I could find one cheap and make a threaded bung for it

    Oil level sight glass

I may. I've never really had a problem using the dipstick though.

You could do something like this that only requires drilling and tapping two holes.

Swing arm is around .200" thick in that area. Personally I think a weld in threaded bung is the best option.

    Oil level sight glass

I don't think any special tools will be necessary to measure the location. I'll transfer the full and add lines to the outside of my stock swingarm tomorrow.

Link to the sight glass you want to run? I might just do this

Changed my mind about mounting the caliper. No more adaptor brackets or that stuff.

    xb9r > streetfighter build

So this is a quick recap of how I designed my caliper mount. Mind you this is not the real mount. I made this for the sole purpose of measuring the hole locations. There was no other way to do it. First I made these individual pieces, one bolts to the caliper, one bolts to the swingarm...

Made an axle tool because I was tired of the ghetto ass method I had been using.

I have the design already yes. Actual measurments no. I'll be making a jig of sorts. You will see soon enough.

Faced the caliper mount bosses and bottom tapped them. Then added the helicoils.

Had to face the opposite side of the caliper mounts since I'll be using them backwards.
