    Have you tried slipping your suspension yet? I would think that the Scg suspension would get you a lot closer to the ground then a custom seat would.

    A right side scoop helps keep those temps down a lot as well. On my 12r they put a piece of plastic on that right side that blocks air flow. Not sure why they decided to do that on an air cooled bike.

    sounds like the harness feeding your instrument panel got cut on a bracket or a ground came loose.

    You could get new ones, but the aluminum foil trick seems to work better then new housings and would be much cheaper.

    I have a 12R. Its a lot of fun to ride, but I was wondering if anyone has messed with the gearing in these transmissions? It seems to me there is a lot of overlap.
