Headlight Mod - Both Lights On w/ Hi-Beam

This mod is great. I did it when I installed my HID lights. Additionally, I put in a delay relay from Tripage so I don't burden my low beam HID ballast during the start-up of the bike. Great product that installs super easily and is really customizable (wide variety of delay times to choose...

    Plasti dip fail.....

It's not supposed to become plastic. It will remain a rubber-type material once cured. It's great stuff to use as it's completely reversible and cheap. However, as you've learned, as soon as it gets a full puncture will start peeling away from that spot. I did the center caps on my truck wheels...

For those with a hiccup/stutter at cruising...

This may be on the same subject of mapping, but definitely not a constant issue I've had, and not at cruise: I have an occasionally present hiccup when the bike is cold, under acceleration only. It doesn't happen once warmed up, and it doesn't happen all the time (I'd guess about 50% of the...

Adjustable levers- Aluminum. Gold and black

Hey all- I bought a set of levers for my XB and decided that they are too long for what I was wanting. I was hoping for a shorty lever and didn't check with the seller first to see what length these actually were. These are very close to stock lever length in their shortest adjustment. Anyway...

    Gauge / Instrument needles?

Wondering if anyone has a place to get different gauge / instrument cluster needles? I want to change out my dash panel and would also like to get some different needles while I'm at it. I checked the 'bay and even went to a Google search, but nothing really turned up...? Maybe I was searching...

How-To: Crank Case Breather Mod (with pics)

[cool][up] Agreed. Nothing against the guys who want to make up crazy grenade catch cans and such, so please don't bombard the thread with rebuttals. To each his own!

    Knowing and KNOWING

I have such a tough time "trusting" a new tire until I can gradually push it farther and farther, but the reviews you will find on different parts sites are definitely helpful to give an initial idea of what you want. I personally have built up so much confidence in my Dunlop Qualifiers that I...

How-To: Crank Case Breather Mod (with pics)

You can, just as the last few posts have said. Although, instead of a catch can, I just used a round allen head bolt that fit snugly into the end of the drain line. Got about 7" of free space to fill up and it cost me $0 to put in. IMHO, it's easier to drain as well when you just pull a bolt out...

    NO money LED flasher mod

Hooray for free mods that work! [up] Did this a week after I put on my front LED signals and got tired of the rapid blinking. Took me longer to find my allen set than it did to complete the process.

How-To: Crank Case Breather Mod (with pics)

Hey all, first post on here although I've been grabbing tips and ideas for a couple months. I simply wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to this thread and write-ups. I use my XB12S mostly for commuting and hated the surge in 1st when I was in slow-n-go traffic. I did the breather...
