Continuing Saga: O4 XB12R AFV Dropping

To turn OFF the 02 sensor using ECMDroid the steps are as follows: ECM Parameters / 02 setup / Minimum RPM (600 by default) > change this above spark cut threshold... like 12000 / Now the 02 sensor is inactive for adjustment by the ECM.

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

Yellow line TPS? White line RPM? and Red line acceleration enrichment? Correct? First screen grab shows enrichment at 10% TPS 191... falls below TPD 80-85 degree threshold. Second and third show no correction because TPS 255 is above/at threshold TPD 85 degrees no enrichment needed as per the...

    Looking for Tuner Pro dash

Have you tested your dash in real time yet? Acting buggy (drops in data stream)? Stock sensor definitions should not need to be converted if using the correct .ADX file but I did have a quick look and it is set to 16bit but Load is set for 8bit so maybe? To edit definintion: select edit ADX /...

    Looking for Tuner Pro dash

I can modify the ADX for a DDFI3 ECM and send it to you, PM me your email and ECMID along with what all you expect to do with the software. Or include phone and we can discuss further details I will need. Off to work at the moment. Thanks for the kind words 34nineteen! You too bud...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

Good, glad my rambling came out understandable. Haha Timing map request? I don't follow, is this a question? "I missed the 27" again I don't follow what you are asking here? Are you referring to the value at TPS 30 RPM 2000? I would be hitting this cell riding away from a stop light or 3rd...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

I revisited the table and saw it has a TPD 80*at 1200RPM and jump to 85*at 2000RPM, here is what it would look like overlaid on the fuel map, any TPD value below this line can have acceleration enrichment applied. Sorry my MS paint skills are lacking but from 2000RPM the top TPS (255 row)...

1.) No you misread your link from the ECMSpy chapter, it is calculated and applied EACH one revolution of the engine. From my original time stamp with acceleration enrichment = 13.7, in the log leading up to this enrichment percentage was as follows: ------0/10.9/22.3/12.7/11.5/13.7/0-------...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

Totally agree with this and what you are interpreting the screen grab is saying, I also fully understand why it is richer than expected (and at the time of this log is exactly what I wanted to be happening). What can't be seen is the adjustments done to the fuel table corresponding to this log...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

To figure out 02 sensor delay I went from the time stamp peak TPS value then tapped the right arrow on keyboard to the TPS value drop point spike, counted how many taps for the 02 sensor lean spike and assume this is the delay required. the 02 drop spike lands between 2-3 taps on the time stamp...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

So the ECM is actually processing the fueling table cell that isn't actually there but implied, in this time stamp RPM is 2271 and we have data column 1900RPM and 2350RPM and TPS value of 169 with TPS data rows 175 and 125. So the ECM calculates the cell value for that TPS and RPM value off of...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

Also something I've not seen done once someone goes WB (I don't think they care to put in the time and effort to compare data) is input and log both NB and WB same cylinder at the same time to monitor NB use within MLV. If someone has junk yard access and is willing to grab the ECM side NB...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

Why is anyone trying to run richer than 14.7-1AFR at steady state cruise??? This is the ideal burn ratio. There is already a table in place to compensate fueling on acceleration. The acceleration enrichment table will add necessary fueling to carry you out of the CL (or compensate for TPS value...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

I went through some of the screen grabs I got back when buellitenboard was still around... here is what Mike Cobb (Xoptimized) had to say on setting up the version of MLV that it looks like you are running. Also you can set a cap for Load to 60 as this is the top of the CL area of the fuel map...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

It appears you have it set up right, with stock NB all you can really get an accurate cell hit on the left fueling side corresponding to the right side cells in AFR bin with target of 14.7 (red cells), all OL/WOT (richer than 14.7) would be out of the NB sensor range BUT if you were to get a...

Here is what stock timing looks like (all values on the circled area TPS 10-20 through 1350RPM have been set to 8 degrees). This is how to tun OFF or ON the temp based timing advance multiplier.

This sounds odd... explain your process for getting the .msq file. I've seen ECMSpy do something similar with .txt files from the internet. I'd suggest running windows signed in as administrator, then right click ECMSpy and choose run as administrator. Connect to the bike and fetch EEPROM then...

Any last ideas before I dive into the world of custom tunes?

Yugo you need the .msq file, aka map file (fuel/timing map only extracted from the EEPROM think 2D grid of TPS/RPM cell values) the only software that I know of that can extract this is ECMSpy ..XPR is a different format of the EEPROM and can easily be pulled with ECMDroid, but won't help you...
