Yep, it is a PIA. Things go a lot smoother & sometimes faster when I can chill out and work on it, even when it gets frustrating.

    Seeking New Tires Suggestions

Yep, been side ways on some ravens before, will not do that again. My personal opinion acemon, I would wait, because you like to have fun when you ride, and if that is the same meaning of fun I have.......it is a little contradictory to your statement ".....and be a little cautious."

    Seeking New Tires Suggestions

As you stated, there are a lot of options, i.e. Q2's, Battle Ax's, Raven's, Motions, Pirelli Angels, Metzler, etc............. but you asked "...... are there better options". The answer in my opinion is NO! In all aspects of economy and performance. Listen to Cooter ↑↑↑

Have a VSS Code 43 this morning. I believe this part # is 74402-05B. This is probably a common Harley Part #. Does anyone know if there is an equivalent automotive part #?

    Spark Plugs

    Strange fuel issue

My Ulysses did this when the big o ring on FPR was blowing out slowly. I can only guess that it was passing fuel on the sensor and did not indicate a low fuel light until the tank was completely empty and I was stranded on the side of the road.

Clutch slipped for the 1st time, the bike has 76K miles on original clutch. Needs to be replaced soon and looking at the options. Seen this clutch kit at SPHD: 306-30-20015 Barnett Friction and steel clutch kit. $326. Seems you get a new diaphram spring and some tools with this kit. $242 plus...

    Intake seals & flanges

I have removed the throttle body. Noticed the flange bolts, all 4 of them, felt like they were torqued to 100ft lbs. The Buell manual says these should be between 96 - 120 in lbs, which is about 8-10 ft lbs. Definitely a lot tighter than they should have been. Have already ordered new set of...
