    Levers

Shout out to 50dro. Got my f3 blacked out shorty ASV in the mail today. Great looking product and I can't wait to get them on. Dealing with 50dro was a pleasure and the service and price were excellent. Highly recommend talking to him if you're in the market for levers

    Cold starting problem

I definitely don't know as much as these guys^^ but I will say I was using interstate battery and had same problem. I switched to a HD battery and haven't had a problem since. These bikes pull a lot on cranking and I always hookup to a tender when done with my ride. Good luck hope you track down...

Hey so I got the money together. Sorry it took a while. I would like the F3 with black on black and shorties for both. Let me know how you would like to proceed

Watch that you don't over tighten drain plugs. I believe the torque spec in vids are incorrect but I would seek confirmation from senior member. I stick to hand tight plus 1/4 turn. Just my two cents a lot of threads about fixing stripped threads

    Levers

Let me try and round up the petty cash and I'll send you a message 50dro. Second baby on the way so the Buell fund has suffered

    Levers

I think no matter what I'll do the shorties as well. I definitely like the look but wasn't sure how I would like the feel. It seems like the feedback is all pro for the shorties though

    Levers

Thank you very much for the input guys. I knew to stay away from cheap eBay ones but wasn't sure where to go for quality ones. Both ASV and CRG look like great products. I'm leaning toward the price of CRG but in reality the ASV aren't much more. 50dro can you get a better deal for them

    Levers

So I wanted to put some different levers on my bike and there are a ton of options out there. Any recommendations and how do you guys feel about the shorter levers versus the normal?

    Powder coating rim

Also used the airplane stripper a blade a metal pick tool and a steel brush and the mounting areas cleaned up perfect. Only took about 20 minutes when everything was said and done

    Powder coating rim

I had mine removed and then taped off the bearing area and it worked just fine. If you leave the bearings in you are absolutely going to need to replace them. Not sure if you meant taping off the bearings and coating with them in but either way between the blasting coating and baking the bearing...

    Powder coating rim

Pretty much what I thought. I know Buell front rims are not the industry norm but it shouldn't be hard to distinguish a machined surface or mounting area

    Powder coating rim

Yes I pulled the bearing and completely stripped the rim. I figured aircraft remover and a blade would do the trick. I'm just pissed that I gave specific instructions for those areas to not be coated and they still were. I paid good money to have it done right so I was going to have them strip...

    Powder coating rim

I've decided to have them re-coat the rim. Just don't feel comfortable with it. Needs to be a machined surface to mount to

    Powder coating rim

So I just got the front rim back from the powder coater today and I'm a little pissed. I asked them to tape off the area that the rotor mounts to. They did not and I had to clean up the area around the bearings. The spacers will still fit in with the square part and the springs slide in (luckily...

    Lightning footpegs

I was looking for something close to what lusiphur had. That being said I was able to find some on eBay that I like without the astronomical price tag. Appreciate the help. Before I pull the trigger on them are there any guys on here that sell them. I would like to support group members if I...

    Lightning footpegs

Thanks for the photos really helped me visualize. So with ASB being gone any ideas on a reliable place to procure a 1" drop peg. Found a couple universal online but were priced around $200 for a similar style as those. Just can't justify that kind of purchase for something so small
