    I've got pucks just​ haven't gotten around to putting them on yet. I planned on pulling it apart and giving it another coat of paint before I do. It doesn't get out much I've been working out the demons. She's​ been on stands more than it's wheels.

    Very hard shifting between 2nd and 3rd when warm

    I would check fluid level, primary chain adjustment and re adjust your clutch first. If you absolutely have to pull the clutch it's not bad. Search the forum there is a ton of good information.

    Part of the shift shaft assembly is behind the clutch to get to the entire thing you need to remove the clutch.

    Update today I finally had the time to pull the clutch off of the bike! I was able to get it out of gear and spin it through all the gears up and down smoothly! That's huge all in itself. I did notice the spacer between the housing bearing and clutch assembly looked a bit worn. The groves in it...

    Thanks John I already have the primary cover off and the shoe looks a bit worn. It has a nice set of grooves in it.     hey gloom long time brother. I'm going through something similar with mine. I've been having a hard time finding out what size of socket to use to take the clutch off of my 06 SS. Shoot maybe I should have posted it here instead of troubleshooting.
