    DIY auxiliary displays and datalogging

Following. I built an LCD gauge setup for my diesel using Arduino and have given some thought to using it on the bike as well. I had seen the previous Arduino project that AZmidget had mentioned (I've got the code saved somewhere I think) but I haven't been able to decide on a display or the...

    Sheared spark plug front cylinder

If he wants $4k for it, or close to that, it needs to be running and good to go. Ask Harley what the cost would be for a new head and labor as a worse case scenario and subtract that from his asking price. A new head is $313 (plus gaskets) from Surdyke if you had to replace it yourself. I stole...

    Sheared spark plug front cylinder

If you have tools and a little mechanical ability, I'd attempt it yourself since you'll save a ton of $$ and get to know your bike better. Plenty of "How-To's on here or Youtube. You could also get a service manual or download one. How much is the bike?

    Sheared spark plug front cylinder

I once bought a dirt bike with a sheared off plug. All that was remaining of the plug was the threads (no hex or ceramic). I just tapped an easy out into it, backed it out and installed a new one in about 5 minutes. Worse case, you are looking at removing the head which isn't too bad. If the...

What to check before 5000 mi ride?

There is a small station by Cavalier. I was in the panhandle of Florida, which was straight and flat too. Maybe eventually I'll get somewhere with fun roads.

What are you going to Cavalier for? I'm PCSing there in about a month (from Florida...) I figured I was going to have the only Buell in the state lol

    Hidden rear brake light switch

Tone you could try using a KTM rear master cylinder and KTM 90* brake switch, it hides it a lot better than the stock set up. That's how I did mine.

    XB exhausts for sale

Hey everyone, I'm getting rid of some extra exhausts that I have acquired. Prices are plus shipping. 1. Stock XB9 exhaust - has 10K on it. Little bit of rust, some dents, but nothing absurd or crazy. $125 2. Modded (gutted) XB12 exhaust - Unsure of mileage or how it was gutted. Sounded better...

A Buell fits in a minivan, just so you know...

Cheap hole saw and a cut off wheel. Once I finish the intake and verify holes are in the right spot, I'll post the template up here for others

A Buell fits in a minivan, just so you know...

That is a Jardine on the left in the top pic and an almost mint condition race pipe on the right. I went with the RA-077V that K&N makes. Same one Nicolas900 used and Sext9 used. TonetheMoan posted some info about air filter ratings and this one will still flow enough air for up to 146hp. I can...

A Buell fits in a minivan, just so you know...

Just wanted to update everyone on my bike. Been riding it trouble free almost everyday since I got it. I did swap the front tire because it was cupped. Other than that, I hadn't done a lot... until last week and this week. I had to burn some leave at work, so I took a few days off to spend with...
