Clearing out my garage... parts for xb12

Hi everyone! Hope I find you all well! It has been a few years since I've been in here. I sold my xb12 back in 2019 and was digging through my garage today and came upon a stash of parts that I think would be useful for you all. I am going to just sell it all as one batch to clear up space...

    Clutch misadjustment

How did you adjust the clutch at the primary? Should be counterclockwise until light bottom and then about 1/2 turn clockwise (With my Muller Power Clutch it is more like 1/4 to 3/8 turn). The clutch cable should be loosened prior to this adjustment. If you haven't tried that, do it and see...

Another hard start issue - fuel priming problem?

I had believed it was a fuel pump or regulator issue since the pump was abnormally loud and had pulled the pump out to replace/check those components. With Jacob Stark's help (from MotoEnthusiasts), I tested the pump in a bucket of gas, i removed it and watched two streams of gas coming out of...

Another hard start issue - fuel priming problem?

I had the same issue with my 09' XB when i purchased it a couple years ago. Turned out the plastic hose that goes from the fuel pump to the fuel regulator had two pinholes in it due to age. That caused the fuel pressure in the hose to drop after the pump would prime and caused the hard...

Looks right, but make sure you don't overtighten the T-Clamp. I had breakages due to my mistake of overtightening the clamp. I believe he recommends 110-120 in/lbs on those t-clamps.

My Buell xb9sx 2009 ISSUES Full Story

The leaks I was talking about with the hose would not be due to a loose clamp... it would be due to the plastic hose degrading over time and cracking, leading to small pinholes that leak gas back into the tank and not allowing your lines to pressurize properly. The way to test it is to take the...

My Buell xb9sx 2009 ISSUES Full Story

There are a lot of things here... 1.) I wasn't aware Termignoni made an exhaust for the XB. Did you get a corresponding map for the exhaust or did you just run as is? 2.) When you got the pump (I assume full assembly?) did you check the plastic hose that connects the pump to the regulator for...

    fuel pump noise ?

When the plastic hose going from my fuel pump to my fuel regulator sprung two leaks my pump became loud. It was trying to pressurize the line and was working overtime. As soon as I replaced the hose and the line was able to pressurize properly, my stock pump went back to being quiet. 55,000...

Good muffler info Shoot out test report

Hey Dean, do you have a dyno chart for your RTXB1 pipe? I get inquiries about the performance of the RTXB1 on my youtube channel and I wish I had something to direct them to like the ASB shootout. I usually equate the RTXB1 to the Drummer SS based off of my butt dyno from riding with both...

I'm about to give up on my 12scg.

Where are you in orange county? I am in Irvine and have a Buelltooth. There are a lot of possibilities of what is going on with your bike. If it can be diagnosed, most of those problems are easy to fix. As for the codes on Buelltooth, you should be able to read the error codes via ECMDroid...
