    I found a set of Showa BPFs for the 1125r. I believe Buell sold them through the race program. They may be hard to find, but that could be an option for you. I was in the same boat as you, wanting to upgrade the forks, but wanting to keep the stock wheel because I found some magnesium XB...

    If I remember correctly the total weight savings over stock was 1.75 lbs in the front and 3.5 lbs in the rear. They are kinda rare to find for sale nowadays. Very expensive also.
