    2008 XB12-SCG Thinking of Selling

Hi I’m considering selling again - getting pressure from family to give up riding until my young kids are older. It mostly looks the same except I got a stainless Drummer SS exhaust with optional core wrap, optional (removable) DB Killer and the matching ECM from Intelligent Design Solutions...

Market for stock XB 12 exhaust and ECM?

In the famous words of Homer Simpson, “mmmmm, beeeeer.”

Market for stock XB 12 exhaust and ECM?

Put a Drummer SS and matching IDS ECM on my ‘08 XB12Scg and wondering what to do with the stock items. I see some exhausts on EBay but don’t know if they sell? Haven’t checked for stock ECMs. Any recommendations on keeping for spare or selling?

Buell brand Saddlebags - never used

It’s possible it would fit but not likely. 2-dimensionally it absolutely would not fit because the bags are not rectangular shaped. But the bags have volume and are even slightly expandable so the laptop could lean diagonally inside. My wife’s google chromebook with an 11.5” screen fit leaning...

Buell brand Saddlebags - never used

Hello, selling my never used / never mounted saddlebags purchased for my ‘08 Buell XB12SCG from the Harley/Buell dealer, probably around ‘09. The only blemish appears to be the glue holding the Nylon “wrap” to the harder shell of the bag at the center crease on the outer side of the bag (see...

    2008 XB12-SCG Thinking of Selling

Yes, I didn’t think that was unique to just the 25th anniversary though. I think it’s all the XB12 model years.

    2008 XB12-SCG Thinking of Selling

LOL! I’ve been wanting to change the exhaust but not sure anyone is making the specific Buell ones any more. I’d want the chin strap still - personal preference. All the changes people make to accommodate the exhaust seem really daunting also - the bypass exercise, etc.

    2008 XB12-SCG Thinking of Selling

Next pic (mirror) is where I messed up parking it in my condo garage and got too close to the pillar A couple scuffs from my jacket, but nothing bad. Could probably be buffed out but I'd just likely put new scratches on...

    2008 XB12-SCG Thinking of Selling

The big maintenance items I, probably foolishly, take to the Harley dealer. They charge you as if it’s a Harley taking the gobs of oil those take and plus their high labor rates and book pricing. They don’t really stock parts anymore either. Thanks for the complements on the bike. I just...

    2008 XB12-SCG Thinking of Selling

He may be interested and I may be selling :). Let me know if you two are interested. It’s a joy to ride and I really don’t want to give it up but the finances don’t make sense. I only get away for ~ 1 or 2 short rides a season and pay insurance and that last maintenance was about $700. Fun rides...

    2008 XB12-SCG Thinking of Selling

'08 25th anniversary-badged Buell XB12SCG, black under 5K mi. Purely stock except swapped to K&N air filter, upgraded spark plugs and new battery last year. Located in Chicago, Illinois. Since I had my son 4 years ago I barely ride, and I rode only slightly more than barely riding before that...

    XB12SsR ver. 2.0

Do you mind me asking how much a full conversion like this costs to do? Purchased an '08 XB12scg last summer but spend enough time on the highways that I wish I had the extra wind protection and the more aggressive riding position of the R. Plus, the bolt styling has seriously grown on me as well.
