    Anyone try these levers yet?

I've had the rideitmoto levers on for about 18 months and the brake lever has bleached to a funny light purple color. The clutch is a bit darker but both are nowhere near the black color they were on arrival. Oh well, I guess that's the gamble...

    DIY Airbox cover (tank!)

Thanks for the response guys, much appreciated. I think i'm going to have a bash at my own. I'll upload pics of the train wreck er, i mean the perfectly-crafted piece... Jobe, is that the original you modded or was it a new build?

    DIY Airbox cover (tank!)

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has made their own airbox cover from scratch using the original as a mould? I have an XB12STT and am toying with having the white stock cover sprayed black but being in South Africa getting a replacement would be very expensive I'm worried that I'll being...

    Buell parts/accerssories in/near New York

Hello all I'm due to visit New York in April and was hoping that maybe there's a store in Manhattan (or nearby area) that would stock parts and accessories. Does anyone know of one? Being from South Africa i've only ever been able to shop on the internet and I kinda like to hold things before I...

    Drummer Exhaust

I spent about 12 months fannying about deciding what to get as being in South Africa there are hardly any Buell owners to visit and 'compare' and the shipping was almost half the cost of the pipe. I took the plunge with Kevin and also ordered the 'quieter' module just in case. I took the plunge...

Extra Plastics, thinking of painting them. Color suggestions?

Go flat black, it's the new black! Seriously, less is more. I'm not a man for gold but Dave's pic of the bolt is very cool.

    Anti corrosion coating for nuts/bolts

Hi. Odd question but the bolts/pins that support the brush guards on my XB12STT and also happen to be the pivot (right terminology?) for the clutch/front brake levers are seriously corroded. So i took them off and dremmeled them down to bare steel. Now I'm trying to find a way to get them back...

    Help - exhaust advice needed

Hi all. I am a newbie Buell owner, in fact new to roadbikes, i've always ridden BMW Adv's and KTM's. I bought a secondhand XB12STT last year and am loving the ride and weird cornering habits! My conundrum is the exhaust. I've done all the research I can via the internet, the problem being that...

    Simple Buell idiosyncrasy question...

Okay, bear with me. I'm not new to bikes but new to Buell. I bought an XB12STT 2007 model secondhand in South Africa, Buell's aren't common here at all. The local Harley dealer gave it my 'first' service and when I questioned him about the 'lumpy' acceleration he said he had reset everything as...

    Protective wax for galvanised nuts?

Cool, that's not a bad option, although in South Africa the powder coating is flipping expensive. FYI. I did manage to find a product called Tectyl - Multi Purpose 506 WD. Seems to leave a clear wax coating on the nuts. Thanks.

    Protective wax for galvanised nuts?

Hi New to the forums/Buell experience. I have just acquired an 08 XB12STT, there are a few bolts/nuts that are galvanised that look like they need protecting. Is there a product or simple wax solution that anyone knows of that could be applied to them to protect them? I thought about a basic...
