    I don't know of any Ulysses that requires service at 3000 miles, especially WARRANTY SERVICE. I think he believes the bike is a "collector's item" and is hoping someone will pay more for it now. Just my guess.

    Has anyone taken grips off....?

    A wire clothes hanger works well and allows the penetrating oil to coat the inside of the grip. It is easier to get under the edge than the screw driver and you can follow the wire with the red straw on the WD-40 can. Just be careful to not poke any unwanted holes in the grips.:)
