    Need honest opinion

I don't know what your driving history is like, but I think my brand new Z1000 was $1200/yr with maxed out coverage for everything. That was in LA and living in a relatively dangerous neighborhood. You might want to shop around.

    Need honest opinion

I had a 2009 XB12Ss and a 2013 Z1000. The Buell was fun, but the Z1000 was the better bike for me. More power, smoother delivery, better fit/finish, more pleasant to drive on the street. I don't miss the Buell, but I sure miss the Z1000.

    So who has a dog?

Thai Ridgeback. She's a weird one. Very few of them in the US. I don't really believe in buying dogs from breeders, but she was the last of the litter and too wonky to sell for $2k, so we took her in. She's more like a cat than a dog, but is incredibly patient and gentle with our 2 year old...

Looking for XOPTI INSIDE - Anybody?

Mike is a great guy with a great product. He, like a lot of us, has transitioned away from Buells. It's hard to give 110% to a business that doesn't represent your interests anymore. Unfortunately, there aren't a ton of alternatives for tuning.

I haven't ridden my bike 1 mile this year

Haven't ridden once in the last year, either. Killed the bike's insurance policy and set it up for storage as best as I could. Work >90hrs/wk on average. Between my work schedule and a 2 year old kid, just can't justify taking the time to go ride. Easier/safer to blow off steam by working...

    Laser-cut custom heelguards

mrmudhill has gone AWOL again. I'm going to lock this thread. If he decides to get serious about producing the heelguards, he can start a new one. I would strongly recommend that none of you send him money until he has product in hand, and even then I wouldn't suggest it.

    Laser-cut custom heelguards

I didn't mean to start a flame thread at all. Your product looks great, and I can definitely appreciate having other competing interests in life. I shut down my Buell tuning business because I wanted to dedicate my time to my medical education and to my daughter, and my customers were...

    Laser-cut custom heelguards

If I may, allow me to offer a word of warning. There have been a lot of people coming through this forum who prototype and promise to sell a variety of products. Most of them drop off of the face of the earth, many of them have difficulties staying on schedule with production, a handful of...

Bluetooth Adapter Group Buy - $51

I want to be clear: Kyle DeWald is NOT welcome to do business here. I appreciate that you guys are working through a backlog of orders and getting product out to your paying customers, but your last offense was too egregious to let slide, and it STILL hasn't been made right. The only reason...

Bluetooth Adapter Group Buy - $51

So Kyle DeWald hadn't even ordered the parts?

Bluetooth Adapter Group Buy - $51

Kyle DeWald has scammed this forum out of considerable sums of money, and also withheld funds from a late member's family. The fact that any of you are even willing to consider doing business with this thief is unbelievable. I don't speak out often anymore, but allow me to delineate the...

    u-ship

UShip has always been very good to me, but I've ALWAYS been sure to double check shipping company references, both on UShip and other venues. Additionally, I never pick the bottom bidder who's offering cut-rate services. Quality service costs good money, no matter the venue.

Buell Trading Post - TRADES ONLY

I moved this to the Buell Parts for Sale sub-forum because it seemed to fit there best. I also changed the name to make it more clear and made the thread a sticky so it will sit at the top. If you want any of that changed, thrstrmech, just PM me.

Missouri governor declares state of emergency!

This thread is bordering on unsettling. I'd like to remind everyone that this is primarily a motorcycle forum, and one that opens its doors to all kinds from all walks of life and from all political backgrounds. Please help us keep this place as welcoming as possible.
