    Vinyl Decals - Interest/Sale

I would be interested in 2 6" and 2 11", all white firebolts. Where can I send the money?

    Worried about my Buell..

I would do a multiple stage cleanout. Do the motor flush like you have read, but instead of kerosene, I would just do a lightweight oil like a 0W-20 or something, but DO NOT RIDE IT. I would follow similar directions as with the kerosene. Change oil filters with a cheap fram or something...

Hey Tifun. I'm over by the old St. Francis. I have probably seen you running around. What do you have?

    Indiana Buellers?

I just wanted to let everyone on here know that I have opened up my garage as an alternative to going to the stealership. I am on the SE side of Indy, and have posted on here a fair amount. Let me know if you all need some wrench work done.

    buells totaled / I,am not

Glad your ok! I would agree your GA got their workout. That whole ordeal sounds like it was...ahem...sobering. I hope you are able to get back to the Buells, but respect your position as far as the $$.

    wobble????

Check the front tire air pressure. I got the same thing when I was about 2 pounds low. Other than that, you sound like you have it covered, and the other guys on here have offered some sound advice.

    Main bearing noisem

I took mine in shortly after I bought it, thinking the same thing. I was met with an "It's normal." Now, with 20K on the bike, There's no sign of failure, and sometimes she gets temperamental and will express her objections a little louder, but, since the main bearings are ball bearings, if...

    No Headlights?

First, Harley guys will, in a LOT of cases, tell you anything to get you out of their face. Mostly, they don't like Buells. As far as a fuse, they would not cause you to have bright lights before they blew. I WOULD NOT run the bike any longer than you have to. After you run the voltage...

Handlebars to the left resets my gauges???

Unwrap your wire harness in that area, and I would bet you have a number of chafed wires that are shorting to each other. Also, take the flyscreen off, and watch how the harness moves when you move the handlebars. Check wherever there is a tight radius, or it even looks like it rubs on...

Shouts of compliments to my Buell from strangers on the road

I have to say, this weekend was the first time, I had really had an encounter like this. I have had my Buell since '09, and she never got much attention (with me around at least). I had had the privilege to work as a flagger at the MotoGP here in Indy the last couple years, and always ride...

    Not the same shock leak...

I would say this is from the seal leaking an pooling in that crack. Since all of the fluid is up above, I would doubt that it is leaking from the bottom. It looks like you have an appointment with a seal driver and some parts from "all balls racing".

    Some advice...

I haven't had mine on a dyno since it was at about 750 miles. It was only pulling 83RWHP. I can guarantee I am better than that now. I would like to get in on a dyno after the beginning of the year. I understand about the spray pattern on the injectors, but I REALLY don't want to drop the...

Engine noise: What is normal and what isnt?

I have the same and it has been that way since new. I asked the harley guys about it, and they said something to the effect of "it is a pushrod twin, it will be noisy." I would keep an ear out and if it gets worse, definitely get it looked at. Otherwise, the hydraulic lifters will need to...

    Some advice...

I looked at that but I am not really excited about dropping the fuel pump again. It isnt hard, just a little tedious. In order not to screw up the paint again, I would need to take the bike 100% apart again. Besides, the idea of running 65+# of fuel pressure isnt really exciting to me.

    Some advice...

Thank you all for your input. I am leaning toward the Edelbrock 3635 or these out of a Ducati 998. They are mfg'd by Magnetti Marelli and are 46 lb/hr, which might be overkill, but I want to leave room for tuning and future mods. Magnetti Marelli/Ducati injector

    Some advice...

I have done a fair amount of work on my bike, and if any of you have read Project Valerie, you will see what I mean. To make a long journey a short one, my bike is now a 1250 with a Hawk exhaust and K&N filter. Stock cams, and reverse dome pistons from Hammer Performance. She runs great but...

    Data-logging

+1 on what Tork said. It will filter out all entries unless the log meets certain criteria. I would go on at least a 20 minute ride, then try running it through MLV
