    2000 X1 Fuel Pump

I had to replace my pump on my '99 X1 when I first got it as well. The pump was a Walbro that was a replacement for a V6 Mustang. Cheap. For cleaning my tank - I just poured in fresh gas and let it sit for a day then cleaned it out with water. I let it dry and found an American made fuel...

    Harley street 750

The US domestic market bikes are assembled here in the states. At the Kansas City plant actually. For the manufacture origin of the parts - they have it wrong. The majority of the parts come from India with a few exceptions such as the frame is now from Vietnam. The parts for the domestic...

    99 x1 Fuel Pump Question

The great thing about these bikes is they use replacement Walbro fuel pumps. I had to replace mine after I dug the bike out of the previous owner's garage where it sat for years. Ran the numbers on the factory fuel pump and cross referenced it to an SN95 V6 mustang fuel pump. Grabbed a Walbro...

I am lucky to be alive, me +1,Drunk girl & Audi -O

Glad you are okay! Those fender forgings on the XL can be chopped leaving the seat pan and you'll have the start of a nice street tracker or a bobber. Good luck with the recovery and I hope this slut gets some jail time.

    Buell BOTT kit

And handles like a wet noodle compared to our XB's dual spar frame. The XB frame was one of the stiffest in the industry when it was being manufactured. Erik and the elves knew what they were doing.

    Rear tire.

    On my carbon kevlar X1 it's a 170/60/17. I don't think Buell went to a 180 on a street bike until the XB's.

    need help with clutch.

Put the spring into the clutch ball ramp. Put your screw driver into the adjuster. Turn it until it feels firm. Back it out a quarter turn. From there adjust your clutch cable so that the clutch has 1/16"-1/8" slack when pulled. From there - you're good. Enjoy the ride.

    Ulnar Nerve - Riding Gloves

Thanks. Doesn't look like anyone has really went into the science of the ergo design for the most common problem with riding our style of bikes. I'll have to look around and try a few pairs out. Thanks for the recommendation on the Alpinestars.

    Ulnar Nerve - Riding Gloves

I'm searching for some new riding gloves that help with numb hands caused by hand pressure on the grips compressing the ulnar nerve. I also put a decent amount of miles on my mountain bike and that industry really is on the ball when it comes to correct ergo designs (seats, gloves, pedals etc.)...

X1 Fuel pump sudden death? Please help with diagnostics!

Mine failed on me too. It's a common Walbro pump found on V6 mustangs. Easy and cheap to get at your local parts store.

    new scg parts 2009

I smell BS as well. I've noticed a ton more flakes starting to pop up on this forum not honoring deals. Ron, Post up the guy who got the free parts to clear your name or you just became "one of them."

    Specialized or Trek bicycles?

I ride a Specialized Carve 29er at the local trails near the house. Love the 29er coming up from a trek 26 wheeler. I can't recommend the work out enough that a single track will give you.
