Are We To Blame (partially) ?

I'm with Soviet on this thread. But aside from that, I guess I could answer your initial question: Yes, we are to blame. We should have never fallen for this ruse. We should have never purchased a single Buell from a Harley dealer. That way, Buells would have been a total failure and Harley...

    Harley Fags

Kyle...why are you bringing up chicken strips? Again, at least in my book and where we are from. Being a squid has far more to do with attitude than it does wardrobe or scrubbed in tires. People change clothes daily...attitudes are for life until you learn to change them. Kevin

Kyle, Just for the record...squid is not just a wardrobe. It is an attitude. Hope you heal up from your injuries. Also I hope someday you recover from being a squid. Kevin

I truly hope guys here think twice before sending this kid any money. Well at least that go towards his bike. Perhaps he should spend some time & money on a riders course. Kevin

Thanks for the info browland. I don't wish a wreck on ANYONE and even feel sorry for this kid. HOWEVER, he does need to check his attitude. His current 'misery loves company' has got to go. Kevin

    Harley Fags

kyle_dewald...lane splitting is perfectly legal in California and other states. Yes, there are limits...only 5 MPH faster than car you are passing and only up to 30 MPH. Plus, let me be the first one to warn you to never give in to your urges about opening your door. A lot more damage to your...

Any buellers in the Indy or Cinci area?

My wife and I live south of Indy. We have matching XB12r's. We routinely hit Nashville, Indiana. From there we either run 45 and/or 135 down to Story & Brownstown. Not quite US129 in TN/NC, but it is a great road. We mostly ride on weekdays, but can ride weekends too if that's better for you...

Flash to pass trigger. Do you use it?

We use ours whenever we see someone coming up to an intersection. you can tell when they look like they might pull out in front of you. Also for the record it is far better to flash them than to have both lights on. That doesn't mean you shouldn't run both...just that you might want to flip...

All of a sudden no fan, no front lights

Is your engine light on? As soon as my fan stopped working, my engine light came on. I hooked up ECMSPY and checked the error code.

Interesting read on tire scrubbing, release agents & heat cycles

I found this on another motorcycle forum and thought it was pretty interesting. The thread poster sent questions to tire manufacturers on tire scrubbing, 'release agents' & 'heat cycles'. Below are the responses from three manufacturers. Solutions are often used on tyres during the curing...

    Ah, F**K, friend went down!

But if you need to tow any serious weight, Ford is the only way to go and the F350, 450 & 550 just can't be beat. Our 2007 F350 dually with 4.30 rear differential is a beast. We pull a 46 foot gooseneck with it. Kevin P.S. Hope your friend heals up ok and wins a good case against that cager.

I just had the most fun I have had in YEARS!!!!

It was great meeting you both and putting a face to the username. Sorry we didn't catch up Sunday morning...We ended up going with the two other Buell riders at Ironhorse on a full day ride. We'll be back at Ironhorse & The Dragon for 4 days starting May 6th. If anyone can make it, let us know...
