    Key Switch fuses keeps blowing?

I had this same problem yesterday. It turns out that the electrical wire for the horn (under the flyscreen) were making contact with the frame. Everytime i tried to honk the horn it would blow the key switch fuse. give it a look.

    Horn is blowing fuses WTF?

Cool that was my next idea. I could honestly care less about it because I don't use the horn (the exhaust is much louder), but I'm supposed to be selling the bike to someone today and I don't think I can just say "hey man just don't use the horn". hahaha. Thanks.

    Horn is blowing fuses WTF?

So I started up my buell for the first time in a week or two yesterday and for some reason decided to press the horn button, aaaand the bike immediately died. It took me a while to figure out what happened but basically every time I press the horn button the 15A key switch fuse blows out or the...

Does anyone know if Harley carries the "15A" Key switch fuse? I need one quick fast and in a hurry. Or is there someplace else I should be looking? Thanks!

    Buell Sound

@kelsersozae- I had the same problem with my hawk exhaust. I set off my neighbors truck alarm every single day getting home from work, and that was just sitting at idle waiting for my garage to open... If you want to get a real laugh, find a parking garage in any upscale area (where all cars...

Speeds and rpm's in the diffirent gears?

sv650's look like complete ass in stock form, no more input needed. hahaha;)

Speeds and rpm's in the diffirent gears?

on an XB9 a (steady) 110MPH is going to be pretty damn close to 6000 rpm. 95mph is 5k rpm right on the money, and the rpm needle is completely buried at 125-130 mph. the XB12 is different because its gearing is different, and I'm just talking about my bike here because each one is unique. These...

    Drummer-looking for some more noise

You probably saw someone with a Hawk Exhaust. They don't come much meaner than that[up]

The harder I ride, the faster it gets

I really don't understand how people are burning themselves through their pants. Buell's do get really really hot, but just not in places where they might burn your leg. Unless you have like a 38" inseam or something and your knees are just super cramped forward up by the header. The only time...

9SL suspension settings any different from 9S?

I've been through this with my own 9SL. The XBR and XBS settings are identical (same fork and rear shock. The SL or SCG fork and rear shock are a whole different ball game. The settings for XBS suspension DO NOT work for the low bike. @ upthemaiden I'm the same size as you and I set up my 9sl to...

    Very strange problem?

Not trying to insult anyone's intelligence, but just make sure the battery terminals are super tight. I had the same problem before. Or maybe your battery just needs to be replaced...

    Crossroads -7 degree bars

just a little bit of advice - the best grips you will find in terms of comfort and durability are going to come out the BMX industry, the most "hand intensive" two wheeled sport PERIOD. The grips are made for the same for the same diameter bars and come in literally hundreds of varieties. Check...

    Crossroads -7 degree bars

I am still mystified as to why people are worried about saving a ten $10 pair of grips when they are putting on a pair of $180 handlebars... hahaha. The buell grips are really nothing special!

Now here's an XB track bike.

they are Ohlins buell forks. They cost $3,000 set. So you can get them if you reeeeeally want to. haha.

Now here's an XB track bike.

They've got one of these on display at my local dealer. It's a bad ass machine. I wonder if it's for sale...

Ok to ride with no muffler?

Dude, it's going to be really really really loud. Your not going to want to ride it, and everyone within a hundred feet of you is going to hate your guts. but to each his own... I (started mine) once without the muffler and that was enough.
