    Good Part Service

So I actually called Sandro earlier today, maybe an hour or so ago. He's still around (on facebook anyway), just not quite as active as he used to be. That said, the domain he used is NO LONGER functional. DO NOT go there, it's got a chineseium hosting company that is spamming out virus type...

looking for exhaust system D&D buell 1125

Might be a stupid question, but why? There are *far* better options than the d&d out there unless you only want loud with the risk of a high-side making a right turn.

    Jardine Exhaust for sale

If it hasn't sold by now, there's something seriously wrong with this program. I wouldn't have bought it, but it was cheap enough 11 years ago. Can we officially call this a revival necro thread now?

    Options for clutch cable replacement

I would stick with what works assuming it's still available. If not, find a local shop that can make cables as required. It's been a minute since I last made one, but it ain't all that difficult to do. Well, as long as you don't live in Commiefornia or some such place where *gasp* LEAD might be...

2003 Buell XB9R - Dean Adams (Magnaflow) Exhaust - Map?

Oddly enough, the calibration for 03-07 isn't finalized yet. I'm still working on it when I have time and can ride to do testing. All of the upper end work is done (4k and up) and runs very well. The sweet spot for a correct AFV, I'm still chasing it to make it as perfect as I can. I'm running...

XB9R Leaking oil from front exhaust manifold

So the first leak is probably the valve guide seal. Tear down required to fix it. Second one, I'd have to look for it, but probably an oil pump gasket would fix it.

XB9R Leaking oil from front exhaust manifold

A rocker box leak would be far more common. Personally I wouldn't start it without the primary gasket (or the primary cover) installed. Maybe post a pic of the suspected leak?

DeanAdamsDesigns (Keda Design) Exhaust systems for sale

Can't complain too loudly, wife might hear it. Went fishing today, only one nibble on the line for me and nothing for her. Still a good day outside. Got another finished this afternoon, so there's that. Had to repair the zipper on my jacket so I can ride again on Tuesday when it stops pouring here.

High AFV and lean popping on Decel

Shady dave does some questionable ****. Seriously, if you want it done right, contact Tim at IDS. They are the OEM manufacturer of the ecm, both stock and race units. Physically, they are the same thing but the race unit does not have the EPA restrictions. Get it from a KNOWN and GOOD source...

High AFV and lean popping on Decel

It *is* a Buell factory race part (P&A stands for Parts and Accessories) and you can run a stock calibration for a very short time, but it will run lean like yours has. It (the ecm) will try adjusting to correct itself, but there is a limit on how much it can do so before finally running like...

High AFV and lean popping on Decel

And after someone tries to help you, this is the fast way to find a new hobby somewhere else. You won't get much more help if you can't do better than that.
