    both wheels are on the ground, but with the boy on the airbox, it is a bunch of tom foolery. In case you can't tell the white is all tire smoke.

    I get just a bit under 27 but I primarily drive City miles, and I ride it like I stole it! What else are you supposed to do with these bikes? :)

    The only other thing I can come up with would possibly be a bad injector, and I am not sure that the sputtering would only occur at constant throttle, if an injector was the issue. Good luck and when you finally figure out was the issue was be sure to post up to inform the rest of us.

    Back fire out of airbox and now it wont idle help please

    Are you able to or do you know anyone with an ECM spy cable, and program. if you have a CEL now, the program will be able to tell you the fault. if not, I you may just need a TPS reset. I have an 04 XB12R, and I had a similar issue, the TPS reset did th trick.

    I guess I would look at the plug wires all the way up, then the wiring for the fuel pump, and any other fuel pump issues. I would have suspected that reading the fault light would have told you what it was though, Are you able to reproduce the "sputter" in your driveway, or does it only happen...

    pre-planning is key, I bring my lunch and or dinner to work everyday. I used to work as a paramedic in the metro detroit area, and busy happens. but skipping a meal in 12 hour shift is terrible. Yes, there is always the occasional Mcdonalds, Subway or taco bell, but you can eat healthier...

    Ride everyday?

    I have just a little over 36,000 on my 04 Xb12R, since purhcased, spent a little over two years overseas, so about 12k a year, regular maintenance, and one clutch (really my fault) and no big problems. and I live in Michigan

    tps question

    I could be worng, but I don't think you want any additional pressure closing the throttle, other than what you get when it snaps closed from WO. Could be your issue.
