Cheaper Levers, will they fit though?

I got a set of cheap ebay levers (adjustable, extendable, foldable) for my xb9r last year. The red anodizing still looks good. Fitment is good too -- no need to make any adjustments.

What did you do for your Buell today?

On Monday, I installed the cheap $5 ebay heated hand grips.

    Mounting the tank bag.

I appreciate the offer lunaticfringe! No need to go to all that trouble though... I don't need that particular tank bag that badly. Thanks anyways.

    Mounting the tank bag.

Thanks for the link lunaticfringe. Too bad for me, the merchant wants $33 to ship it up to Canada. Pretty much kills the deal.

    Mounting the tank bag.

Are these still available on ebay? Can someone post a link or the seller? I did a quick search on ebay, I didn't see any $27 tank bags. Thanks~

    buell factory right side scoop

Just got my ULY inner/outer right scoop installed. :) I ended up getting mine special ordered from HD Edmonton. Cost me ~$78. It was the cheapest I could find it. Most US HD dealers won't ship their parts up to Canada.

    ebay adjustable extendable foldable levers

What do you mean by 'push them down'? You could pull them with one finger if that's what you usually do. I'm a two-finger puller. If you're referring to the folding part, it only folds 'up'. It doesn't 'fold' when you pull on the lever. The folding is useful for tight parking (if your levers...

    ebay adjustable extendable foldable levers

I bought some cheap ebay adjustable extendable foldable levers. Price was ~$55 shipped. They arrived this past week. No duties or taxes, as they were declared as a low value gift. :) Installation was easy. Just one pivot nut/bolt for the brake. And for the clutch, you just loosen the cable a...

    Clutch Cable Install

Hope you guys don't mind the thread resurrection... Thanks to everyone in this thread. I managed to get my clutch cable swapped out last weekend on my '03 XB9R. It was a slow process -- mostly because I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I used this thread and the owners manual as my main...

    WTB: Clutch Cable for XBR

Looking for a clutch cable for my XB9R. Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It broke off at the lever last week. :( Luckily, I was pulling into my garage at the time, instead of somewhere far away from home.

    How To: Tire Change

Thanks for the write up and pics njdevils1990! I just got my rear tire removed for the first time. My dad welded up a rear wheel removal tool for me using an m14 bolt/nut (22 mm) washer combo. I could not find a 7/8" anything anywhere. In case there are any 2003 XB9R owners removing their...

    Changing Upper Triple Clamp

Thanks for the responses 2nastyn8 and RT Performance! I successfully finished swapping the triple clamps tonight. The toughest part was getting the center allen cap/bolt off. It was on there really tight. It was also annoying to have to go out and buy a T45 tamper-proof security torx bit set...

    Changing Upper Triple Clamp

Hi all, I need to change the upper triple clamp on my XB9R. Is this fairly easy to do? Can I just unbolt all the things attached to the triple clamp (clip-ons, ignition) and pop it off? Or do I need to remove the front wheel and forks too? Thanks!
