    check the bolts holding the voltage regulator to the frame, mine backed out and lost the ground to the frame and bike wouldnt start. locktite everything!

    snapped off the top of the rebound adjuster on the dampening rod and in need of a for replacement or just the dampening rod, anyone know of one or should I go through the harley guys and buy the fork spring compressing tool?

    Fork rebound adjusting screw snapped...

    No I am talking about the red nut with the silver screw inside of it on the top of the forks, i snapped off the little screw on my left fork, im looking to find a replacement for it. The only place I have seen them is of course in Europe from TWIN for lots of money.

    Anyone know where to get a new one from and what to so next? I snapped the thing off, it looks like some is still in the hole. Can I pull the adjustment assembly out without doing anything else and replace it? Thanks fellas.

    Firebolt 09

    Check the bolts holding the voltage regulator on, when they get loose it looses the ground and clicks and what not, pull them, loctite and reinstall.

    Hey all, took my head off to get the exhaust stud drilled out, im a little confused by the service manual and how they say to re assemble. Can anyone walk me through the part about torquing down the head bolts, it talks about bolts and screws in the manual, just dont want to fuck it up. Thanks guys.

    I would be happy to send you my set thats snapped in two if you want to tack it back together and use it as a template. the flange for the 02 sensor needs to be tacked back on as well. Let me know, il put it in the mail today. 860-805-0788 Chris.

    Yeah those equal length ones are fucking gorgeous, too bad its like a grand after the USD-EUR conversion....tempting but 1 fifth the cost of your bike for some simple tubing with smooth bends in it? come on it cant be that hard to build lol

    Yeah, someone has to step up and start producing headers, theres a huge vacuum in the market for them. I am surprised Randy hasnt started building some. Again though if anyone has one or knows of someone who does, PM me, thanks fellas

    I just called SURDYKE, same problem as harley, shits back ordered, good luck fellas, when is someone in the states going to start producing buell headers. Harley is dropping the ball big time on keeping up with parts for the 7 years.
