Out of storage, was running fine until....

Expensive here for a Buell! They are quite a bit cheaper in the states than here. Lol I know I spent some cash on the BMW but I got a really good deal on it being military and no taxes.

Yes actually! I ended up buying a complete used fuel pump assembly and replacing it. The used one was a little louder than my original but it fired right up. And like posted above before I replaced the pump I cleaned the entire fuel system. Anyways after I got it running I decided to sell it...

    Sold my Firebolt...

I can't do a Jap bike, some reason I can't get myself to spend any money on any Jap bike. So it's American or Euro for me! I highly recommend looking at and test riding one of these. I have rode a few different Ducati's, including the 1199 Panagale and the Aparilia RSV4 and the BMW was by far...

    Sold my Firebolt...

Well I wanted to keep the Buell and rebuild it but the US registration system here we are only allowed 2 vehicles and 1 recreational vehicle. So I had to make a decision.

    Sold my Firebolt...

I agree with you on the rear seat. My wife won't ride with me anyways and I really don't like passengers. Right now there is only one option to remove it and it comes from BMW. It's a carbon fiber cowl that's $400-$500. Hopefully something will be produced from another company soon. Also...

Also they stopped making this color right after I ordered it a few months ago. Only made it in this color for less than a year.

    Sold my Firebolt...

It's rediculously fast too! Even with the 9k rpm rev limiter on during break in. Completely different beast than the Buell. I'll miss the Buell though.

Yea I'm thinking about powder coating the swing arm black. The black model has a black swing arm but no others, I just can't do a black bike though.

    Sold my Firebolt...

Since moving to Germany I have been having a lot of issues with my XB9 Firebolt. Finally decided to sell it and get something else, at least for now and will want to pick up another Buell once I get back to the states. So in the mean time this is what I picked up the other day. 2012 BMW...

Oh and when fuel is put directly into the intake it runs so I know it's something to do with fuel.

Ok a little update. Still not running [down] I ended up replacing the fuel filter, pulling the injectors and soaking them in cleaner for a few days, back flushed the fuel line with carb cleaner, replaced plugs and plug wires. Still doing the same thing. Pump comes on, I don't have a pressure...

    Couple of part price questions

Ok so I just ordered 2 fuel pump orings and 2 spark plug wires from a Harley dealer here in Germany and the total came out to 50 Euros witch is about $65 bucks or so. Does this seem like the right price from a dealer? Its either that or spend the extra $15-20 on shipping on every item I have to...
