    Thank you Cosworth, No such voltage issues visually noticed. Though I did notice that when I removed the neg. batt. lead before removing the ECM and other; the Pos. lead was slightly lose. Can that result in burnt out ECM fuses ?

    Darn. I had the most reliable XB9S for 7 years now. Not a single problem (except drive belts). Now all of a sudden the ECM pops after a 15 min ride ? What gives ?

    I think I may hav found the issue after reading a many of our XB pals other posts. I started my beast and ran my hand around plug wires while keeping it alive. Got a good zap from the frnt plug wire. I temporarily insulated it to see if any difference and bingo ! Gotta change a plug wire...

    Have a 2003 XB9S with EBR race exhaust and EBR race ECM. Ran superb for two summers (Never owned a funner bike). But now sputters like a dog. Wont run well untill warmed up (5+ min). Used to start and go. Now wont idle at start up until run for while. Just changed plugs twice. But Plugs...

    ** Clutch grabs and causes a jump ??

    After many adjustments as per BUELL shop manual, fluid changes, lever, and cable. I spoke with a competant HD mech...he thinks my metal clutch plates are warped. What d'you guys think ? Damn reliable bike..given the thrashing I give it and all the off road I do.
