03 XB9R k&n ok w/out having TPS reset?

Sorry if this is a dumb question.. (I tried to search)

Just picked up a bone stock 03 xb9r w/ 10k miles on it. (my other bike is a 09 XB12Ss) and am wondering if I'm OK with a better air filter swap (like on the '09) or will the '03 need a TPS reset or someother tuning done as well.

It should be fine. No need for a TPS just for changing the filter. I would still suggest doing it as you most likely don't know when it was last done. Considering it takes ~15 minutes from start to finish I think its time well spent. It would be best to do some data logging and do a custom map...but it most likely won't hurt the motor with just a filter change.
