Recently tossed the Jardine slip-on and the K&N air filter. Bike ran OK for a day or two, lacked in the mid range so I had a buddy recommend the EcmSpy program/cable to set up and remap it to a race tune. Long story short the race tune ran/idled awesome for a evening ride for about 2 hours, on Thursday. Went to ride again Sunday afternoon, was real cold blooded at start up, and once on the road had nothing between 3/4500rpms. Not sure what to think, tried TPS reset, no luck, now the bike wont idle at all, wont run over 3000rpms, smells like its running richer than can be. Did shoot a couple blue flames out the exhaust. Attempted downloading the stock map back into the ecm and the Spy brings up "EEprom data is not compatible to ecm" So any and all guidance will be appreciated, thanks guys!

Change to some good plugs (NGK# DCPR9EIX) and consider burning back your Stock EEPROM or modifying/datalogging what you've got if you can. The Race mapping may have been a litte too rich or there are bad EEPROMs floating around the net. Best way is for you to start from Stock and datalog adjusting mapping to custom fit your bike.

Good info, only problem is stock map wont load back in, gave me the "EEprom data is not compatible to ecm"?! Any way around that? Or am I down to modifying what is currently in there?!
