Ok so I picked this buell up from a local guy and bike ran ok first day but second day bike ran erratic at idle like it was a little rich and it was idling low. the bike has a d&d exhaust and the guy I bought it from said it has a remapped ecu but not sure how to tell that for sure. So I took air box off did the mod to the upper lid, cleaned the throttle body and did pcv reroute and changed the plugs with new factory replacements. So now the bike runs worse at low rpms very jerky, pops when letting of throttle after letting idle for more than about seconds it wants to shut off. I have idle set at 1050 now but it surges up and down some. The bike runs great over 3000 rpms great power. I have ordered the iron machine plug wires for it hoping those will help. Im in columbus, ga if there are any local buell experts. Nearest buell service shop is atlanta to me which is like a 2 hr ride.

air leak; mass air at low idle then leak gets smaller at high speed rpm's and its not as noticeable

Ever ridden this type of Harley v-twin engine before?

People: don't look at a problem and then do a mod before you fix the problem. Don't say an engine is running rich unless you do a plug check.

Probably needs a throttle position reset. You need an ecmspy cable and software. Search fleabay $50.

Did the reset bike runs much better, just got the wires from iron machine im going to put those on and hopefully that will help some as well.
