this is the bike as it sits

Yea most stores are out of stock and the only ones i found were on ebay for 108.28 but its for a lightning , and the other one on this sites parts store for 251 which is an oem cover

no i need alot of stuff, I'll give you a quick list lol.
Front motor support is broken, frame seat support is broken, both front forks are bent badly, oil cooler is busted, primary cover is busted , broken shifting and brake pegs, rear swing arm is cracked, wheels broke, rotors broke, subframe completely broken.

Well I'm no parts guy but I'm admiring the amount of work you have ahead of you. I sure wish I had the time and tools to perform that kind of work.... I bid you good luck sir....[up]

The engines are the same in both the XB9S and R right? As long as you get a similar year you should be fine I would think. Someone can correct me if I'm way off

Check out some of the parts on eBay, alot are coming from salvage stores that don't have every part listed online. I'd start emailing them with the parts you need with a compatible bike they will come off and see what you can come up with.

I believe so on the s and r, and thank you kab i'll be posting pics as i progress on my "little" project

So finally getting most of the parts for the bike. I had a question about changing the headlights front end what not. I love the cr headlights does anyone know how hard it is to change the firebolt front end for a cr, headlight wise? thanks. I have seen the post about the lightning to cr conversion, would it be the same for a firebolt?

So i came to a screeching halt in my project when i was removing my swing arm i broke the swing arm bolt in its socket. How the heck do i recover from that? can i take the broken pieces out of the engine case? or am i screwed? thanks

Abe- I've got the subframe/seat support, undertail, and driver/passenger seats. Selling them pretty cheap if you're interested.

Hey thanks Tim, I haven't been on for a while. So I have almost every part I need. All im missing now is the wheels, rotors, clutch pressure plate, the splined shift shaft lever , drive belt and rear sprocket. and then she comes back to life.
