Hello everyone new to the forum.
Yesterday I just picked up a 06 XB12R 10400 mi.
It has sat for the last three years.
I got a new rear tire on it and a new battery
Only thing missing is a turn signal. I know the old owner , it hasnt been laid down.
got it for a real good price.
Ifire the bike up using a squirt of starting fliud or little gas, otherwise it wont run.
I drained out the old gas. I disconnected the line with banjo fitting at the fuel pump and old gas came out of that. I tried to pull the pump but couldnt get it all the way out because of the swing arm. I put it back together.I poured in some new gas it doesnt seem to be making it to the motor. Any Ideas? Fuel pump? Injectors clogged?
Any Help would be appreciated!

Is the pump energizing when you key the ignition on? if so then you might have a injector or fuel line issue.

This is my 1st bike with fuel injection. My other two bikes are carbed and no computers or ecms. That being said how do I tell if the pump is energizing when I turn the key on? I also realize I should have put this under the troubleshooting section! SORRY[confused]

Unfortunately I dont live where I keep my bikes.
I got over there this evening. When you turn key on the fuel pump is quiet. I checked fuses all good.
the are 4 wires coming out of the pump. The brown and yellow has 13.3 volts the grey has 13.3 volts.
