08 Cluster

My bike came with an 09 owners manual and the book says my cluster should be able to do a lot more than it does. I can only switch the brightness level/temp and the odometer/trip. Is that all an 08 cluster does? I guess I dont need it to do anything else but i do like the idea of the security feature on the 09s.

You're doing something wrong then. The only major difference was the coolant temp and gear indicator if I remember correctly. All other stuff functions the same, including the theft pin option. Mine is an 08 cluster.

Got it working! Thanks for the feedback, It had never been set up since it was new so I had to go through the initial set up and I wasn't holding the buttons long enough. [up][up]
