Yep and she is nice! Welcome to the forum. Maintenance is different on these bikes. Oil changes at 2'500 to 3'000miles. AmsOil 20/50 is good to start with. I use Amsoil Gearlube-75/90 for the transmissions in my Xb12Rs.
you can use 20/50 in both Engine and Transmission if you like. I've built so many Engines & transmissions in my time that from others problems and seeing what happens.! I just rebuild and try to help educate as they come in. If you maintain properly the 20/50 should be just fine. If you are the Type to kinda WELL maybe a few Thousand more miles.
That is Not a good Idea.!!Air Cooled is Hotter Tears up the Fluids to bits, and a Right Side Air Scoop From American Sport Bike will really help the rear Cylinder cooling while moving along.
Just make sure to use a V-Twin Fluid for motorcycles. Everyone has a Favorite so keep it simple,BTW- make sure when changing the Spark plugs OR changing the Fluids Please Take your time and just Snug the Drain Plugs OR you can Strip out the Threads.
NGK DCPR9EIX are the good plugs so far for the Buells the Stock Plugs do work well also. IF you use the [NGK] Brand make sure NOT to gap them they are Usually preset. A wire gapper only to check them . The Tip is easy to damage so post up and again Welcome to Buell XB.com and Ride Safe.* Jimi
