09 XB12SS forks on 04 XB12S

Hey guys -

Got a gnarly rock chip in my right fork, the seal is leaking really bad. Was looking for just one fork to replace it and do both seals at the same time too + some other maintenance.

Came across this used set from a 09 XB12SS. Would it work on an 04XB12S? What other options should I consider?

No it won't. The 04 forks are 41mm, later ones are 43mm. I know because I have just done seals and bushes in my 04 12s.
