im trying to locate freespirit fairing kit for my 09 1125cr anybody have them or know where i can get them all the normal sites from england and italy dont have them.

Not sure what freespirits fairings you are looking for but I have the solo tail/tank cover combo fairings from free spirit and has all the brackets as well.

Not sure if these are good or not but if you go under.....www.trojanhorse-adrenaline moto.uk or do a search for it. They have ALOT of stuff for buells but they are located in the UK.

Is the tank cover necessary? Is it actually shaped differently or required to account for the different brackets?

Its shaped different and accounts for the bracket 'raise' of the tailsection. If you notice the little piece between front part of seat and the frame, there is actually over an inch of 'added fiberglass' to account for the lift. The Freespirit setup comes complete with the brackets, tank cover and tailsection, but needs to be painted. (if you buy it new from adrenaline-moto) and the exchange rate is a SOB!!! I think I paid over $800 in US dollars. I like it alot but of course, everything is for sale for the right price. If you want it, let me know. I have it currently on my 1125R but I could have everything off in an afternoon, if you want it. I also have the ErikBuellRacing battery tray/ undertail section (see photo above) the small subframe and lithium battery. I could make it a package deal if needed.
