Can anyone point me to a How-To or another forum post regarding improving throttle response on the 1125? Maybe my expectations are to high but I am looking to tighten up the throttle response from what I have in it's stock condition.

Thanks xtreme and xgambit!

I have the resistor for de-noiding on order, so I am just waiting for that. Air filter is good, but I will look at the slack in the throttle cables again, they have been adjusted though.

next thing to look at would be would be fuelling. also doesnt hurt to do a TPS reset.

ya my XB has some delay in throttle response but the 1125 definitely does not. it can even be twitchy in higher revs/lower gears.

so ya thats not normal.

xgambit - I reset the TPS when I installed the EBR ECM. I could do it again I guess.

What do you mean by "next thing to look at would be fueling."?

Will the throttle tube mod for XB's work on 1125's, the one that increases the diameter of the cable drum on the tube, that would increase the response

If I remember right, its just a little filing to allow clearance and smooth rotation, if you can make the PVC sleeve, the housing shouldn't be any problem

youre getting slow throttle response with the EBR ECM? damn

ya there's definitely something wrong. the throttle tube idea would be great if you find the stock TS is not to your liking but it doesnt sound like that's the problem.

do you know anyone else with an 1125 that you can compare yours too?

oh and by fuelling, i meant simple stuff like make sure youre fuel lines arent crimped or dirty or loose
