Sorry cant find thread.[confused]and How often should you do this.I think i just read someone saying every tank of gas?

not sure every tank of gas...

For 2008 XB and 1125 models the reset can be done with the following sequence of throttle movements.

- Turn the ignition on and set the kill switch to the run position - don't start the engine
- Gently force the throttle to fully closed
- Take the throttle to fully open, hold firmly for 1 second.
- Take the trottle back to fully closed and hold 1 second
- Repeat (fully open, fully closed) 3 times
- Turn the ignition off
- Turn the ignition on
-also i was told to let idle for 10 minutes to relearn

It isn't a big deal...!
Maybe twice a year is plenty.

The only time I do it on my 09CR is when it backfires on startup.....once in almost 20,000 miles...! Overall, I've done the TPS twice now.
People make way too much of this....it's even worse over on the XB side...!

How do you know if you've done it right..."you" don't.
Or you can connect ECMSpy and verify the 2.2 volts.
And by the way, with an 1125, the ECMSpy won't change anything....you can just verify a coula things.

idk if its me or not seeing things but when i did mine it said "fuel (something)" on the cluster right when i finished...IDK though

Just you...

I only ever reset mine if I swap out the EBR ecu to go to the dealer... And then again when I swap back...

Thanks, Mike. It's just the way it's worded that makes me wonder "Do I open/close it and then do it 3 more times?" Appreciate ya clearin that up! [up] for the insight
